Amanda Wagar is a Metis Criminal Defence lawyer and the owner of Wagar Law. 

She was called to the bar in May 2023 and opened her firm on March 1, 2024, in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

Ms. Wagar began law school in 2019 and since then she has been representing individuals in criminal court. She has a strong passion for advocating for her client's Charter protected rights, ensuring her clients are properly represented and negotiating the best possible outcome for them. 

As a Metis advocate, Ms. Wagar pays close attention to Gladue Factors to ensure her Indigenous clients are properly represented within the criminal justice system.
